Vision launches OLED TV
Pran-RFL Group’s consumer electronics brand Vision has launched an OLED TV, a television with display technology based on the characteristics of organic light-emitting diodes (OLED).
According to a press release, RN Paul, managing director of RFL Group, unveiled the television at a recent program in a city hotel.
“OLED has a number of advantages over LCD (liquid-crystal display) and LED (light-emitting diode),” he said.
“The crystalline layers…are less thick, lighter, and more flexible…allowing for significantly broader viewing angles and is ideal for situations where multiple people are watching TV at the same time,” he explained.
The OLED TV is available for purchase at Vision Emporium, RFL Best Buy, and authorized dealers throughout the country for a maximum retail price of Tk 290,000.
The company is offering a 20% discount as well as an 18-month free subscription to the Chorki app. On the TV, there is also a Toffee app.
Vision Electronics executive director Kazi Rashedul Islam, deputy general manager Forhad Hossain Mamnun, and manager Shibli Noman were present.
