Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited and the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) have entered into a three-year partnership aimed at fostering research, cooperation, and technological innovation.
The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 25 September, according to an ISPR release.
This strategic collaboration seeks to enhance mutual exchanges and strengthen the basis for friendship, with a particular focus on research and innovation (R&I) projects. Walton Digi-Tech and MIST will collaborate on various initiatives, sharing ideas and working on projects in areas of common interest.

Under the terms of the MoU, the partnership will help improve access to smart technology in educational institutions. It will also provide cutting-edge tools, resources, technical training, workshops, industrial visits, and scholarships to students and researchers, driving future technological growth in Bangladesh.
The agreement signifies a crucial step in fostering cooperation between both organizations. It empowers them to contribute to the country’s research ecosystem while promoting the adoption of smart technology in the education system, according to the release.
