Bangladesh’s electronics giant, Walton, has exported electric fans worth Tk50 lakh to the Indian state of West Bengal this month, marking yet another milestone in expanding the export market for Walton products in India, according to a press release.
Walton manufactures electric fans featuring advanced technology at its own factory in Bangladesh. Known for their exceptional quality, Walton fans, proudly labeled as “Made in Bangladesh,” not only meet domestic demand but also enjoy international appeal.
Abdul Latif, head of Walton Fan’s Global Business Operations Department, mentioned that they have been exporting fans to West Bengal since 2022. The exported fans include stand fans, table fans, and tornado fans, distributed through various local dealers across several districts in West Bengal.

Sohel Rana, Chief Business Officer of Electrical Appliances, highlighted India’s vast market potential and the increasing demand for Walton fans in the country. He attributed this growth to Walton Fan’s high quality, use of the latest technology, energy efficiency, durability, and longevity. This export endeavor aligns with Walton’s “Vision Go Global 2030” to become one of the premier global brands.
In addition to India, Walton also exports fans to Nepal, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Yemen, and East Timor, further enhancing Bangladesh’s reputation wherever Walton products are sold.

Zakibur Rahman Sejan, brand manager of Walton Electrical Appliances, noted that Walton exports products manufactured in its own factory through numerous business partners worldwide after meeting local demand.
Walton’s fan manufacturing plant in Gazipur has a monthly production capacity of four lakh units across more than 100 models spanning 12 categories. Besides catering to the local market, Walton also receives fan export orders from various countries around the globe.
