Bangladesh’s leading electronics company, Walton, has introduced an innovative project called ‘Dreamers Canvas’, allowing customers to order custom-designed refrigerators in their preferred colors and styles. This groundbreaking initiative marks Walton as the pioneer in Bangladesh to offer such personalized fridge options.

Customers can now select their desired colors and designs for Walton refrigerators, with the company committed to delivering the customized appliances promptly, as stated in a press release.

The launch event for the ‘Dreamers Canvas’ project took place at Walton Corporate Office in the capital city on Sunday evening (18th February). S M Rezaul Alam, Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC and Chairman of Walton Digi-Tech Industries, unveiled the project’s logo and website (canvas.waltonbd.com) during the ceremony.

Among the attendees were Mohammad Rayhan, Managing Director of Walton Plaza, SM Shoyeb Hossain Nobel and Nazrul Islam Sarker, Additional Managing Directors of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, Md Ziaul Alam, Chief Financial Officer, Tofail Ahmed, Chief Business Officer of Walton Refrigerators, Anisur Rahman Mollick, Deputy Chief Business Officer, Tapash Kumer Majumder, Head of Walton Research and Innovation (R&I) Center, Azmal Ferdous, Head of Fridge R&I Division, as well as Shahidul Islam Reza, Product Manager, and Mostafizur Rahman, Brand Manager.

Additionally, managers and distributors from various regions across the country participated virtually in the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Dreamers Canvas’ project.

Addressing the gathering, SM Rezaul Alam highlighted how Walton’s ‘Dreamers Canvas’ project introduces a new dimension to refrigerator customization in Bangladesh, expressing hope that this initiative would gain significant popularity in the local market.

Tofail Ahmed, CBO of Walton Refrigerators, emphasized the project’s aim to fulfill the dreams of customers who envision owning refrigerators tailored to their preferences. He noted that Walton is the first company in Bangladesh to offer such personalized fridge options, enabling customers to align the appliance’s design with their home decor or even gift customized fridges for special occasions like weddings or birthdays.

Anisur Rahman Mollick, Deputy CBO of Walton Refrigerators, explained the process for customers to create their custom designs via the Dreamers Canvas website, where they can choose from pre-defined patterns or upload their own designs. Walton will then manufacture and deliver the fridge according to the customer’s specifications.

Azmal Ferdous, Head of Walton Fridge R&I Department, highlighted Walton’s capability to produce refrigerators with customers’ desired colors and designs, thanks to its in-house manufacturing of essential components, including compressors. He also emphasized the durability of Walton tempered glass door refrigerators.
