Walton gave financial aid to the family of a village police member in Gaibandha, who bought a gas stove in instalments from Walton.
The deceased, Matiram Robidas, already paid some instalments for the gas stove, reads a press release.
Under Walton’s recently introduced Installment Buyer and Family Protection Policy, all remaining instalments were waived and his family received financial aid from Bonar Para Walton Plaza in Gaibandha.
Under the new policy, all instalment buyers of Walton products receive a protection card while making their purchase.
