Arla Foods Bangladesh Partners with MetLife for Insurance Services
Arla Foods Bangladesh, the local subsidiary of European dairy cooperative Arla Foods, has recently entered into a contract with MetLife Bangladesh to provide insurance facilities to its employees.
The signing ceremony between Arla Foods Bangladesh Limited and MetLife Bangladesh took place at the Arla Foods Bangladesh Limited head office, as per the press release.
Under this agreement, approximately 1,500 members of Arla Foods will receive financial support for medical treatments, accidents, and loss of life.
MetLife was chosen as the preferred employee insurance provider due to its tailored solutions, online claims settlement service, expedited payment of insurance claims, and financial stability.
Arla Foods Bangladesh Ltd has been operating in Bangladesh since 2014, with its FSSC 22000 (V5.1) certified packaging facility located in Konabari, Gazipur. Their portfolio currently includes Dano Power and Dano Daily Pushti, which provide dairy nourishment and nutrition to millions every month.
In Bangladesh, MetLife offers insurance protection to more than 270,000 employees and their dependents from over 800 organizations.

During the signing ceremony, representatives from Arla Foods Bangladesh Limited, including Managing Director Laurent Ponty, Head of Human Resources and Administration Md Ali Ahsan Khan, Manager of Talent Acquisition and HR Operations Arif Hossain, Executive of HR Operations, Learning, and Development Afsara Tasnim Chowdhury, and Front Desk Executive Nurun Nahar Rozy were present. MetLife Bangladesh’s senior officials, including Nafis Akhter Ahmed, the chief corporate business officer, and Mohammad Kamruzzaman, the head of Employee Benefits, also attended the event.
