Berger Unveils Awards to Celebrate Excellence in Interior Design
Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited is gearing up to launch the “Berger Awards for Interior Design 2023,” a prestigious initiative aimed at honoring the exceptional talents of interior designers within the nation. The grand unveiling of this coveted award took place during a splendid ceremony at Gulshan Club in the heart of the capital city.
The esteemed panel of judges, comprising eminent architects such as Ehsan Khan, Tania Karim, Asif M Ahsanul Haque, Abid Hasan Noor, Syeda Tuhin Ara Karim, and artist Dhali Al Mamun, is entrusted with the responsibility of evaluating the entrants. The competition features two distinct categories: “Professional” and “Amateur,” each offering a total of six coveted prizes. The deserving winners will receive an esteemed reward of one lakh Bangladeshi Taka, accompanied by a certificate and an impressive trophy, as highlighted in the official press release.

A pivotal presence at the event was Rupali Chowdhury, the Managing Director of Berger Paints Bangladesh, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In her address, she underscored Berger’s steadfast commitment to nurturing the talents of interior designers. She emphasized, “The world of interior design has undergone a remarkable evolution in recent times, with its momentum projected to endure. The role of color within the realm of interior design is paramount. As a pioneering force in the paints industry, Berger Paints has embarked on this noble initiative to inspire and acknowledge the finest interior designers.” The intricacies of the competition were elaborated upon by the Jury Advisor, Architect Jalal Ahmed.
This event saw the presence of notable personalities including MD Mohsin Habib Chowdhury – Chief Operating Officer; A K M Sadeque Nawaj – Chief Business Officer; Tanzeen Ferdous Alam – Chief Marketing Officer; and Shabbir Ahmad – Head of Corporate Sales, alongside the distinguished Chief Guest, Rupali Chowdhury.
