Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited held the Berger Awards for Interior Design-2023, where they celebrated and recognized the country’s gifted interior designers.
The event was a large-scale ceremony held at the Capital’s Radisson Blu Hotel’s Grand Ballroom last Thursday evening, where both professional and amateur designers were honored.
In the professional category of the competition, awards were given to Architect Mahmudul Anwar Riad, Architect Mamun Morshed Chowdhury, and Architect Daniel Haque for their PMG Art Gallery project. Furthermore, Architect Mohammad Rakibul Hasan and Architect Nusrat Kabir received awards for their Achon Retail project while Architect Manifa Rehnuma was recognized for her Mangalalok project in the Aficionado category. Harun Sultan was awarded for his Pinewood Cafe project while Fahim bin Farooq Mashfi and Sara Mahbub were honored for their joint project. Each winner received one lakh rupees, a certificate, and a trophy.

Rupali Chowdhury, Managing Director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited who served as the chief guest at this event expressed that it’s an honor to recognize interior designers through this initiative by Berger. She further admired how brilliantly all these talented designers have displayed their skills in this competition which has only reinforced her faith in Bangladesh’s immense potential in interior design sector and assured that Berger will always be there to support them in future.
The competition’s judging panel was made up of the country’s leading architects, including Jalal Ahmad, Ehsan Khan, Tania Karim, Asif M Ahsanul Haque, Abid Hasan Noor, Syeda Tuhin Ara Karim and artist Dhali Al Mamun.

They were all present at the event. The Chief Operating Officer of Berger Paints was represented by Mohsin Habib Chowdhury. Also present were Chief Business Officer AKM Sadek Nawaz and Chief Marketing Officer Tanzin Ferdous Alam.
