All transactions of Habiganj Agriculture University only through Nagad
Habiganj Agricultural University has teamed up with Nagad, a mobile financial service, to make paying fees and other transactions easier for students and staff. Instead of waiting in long lines at the bank, students can now pay tuition and job application fees, and receive stipends digitally through Nagad.
Representatives from both sides signed the agreement recently in Dhaka, with the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Md Abdul Baset, stating that this partnership will offer students a hassle-free and low-cost way to pay fees.
Nagad’s Executive Director, Md Shafayet Alam, expressed the company’s goal of providing financial relief to all people in the country, and noted that Nagad will not charge any fees for the services provided, except for operating costs.
Deputy Registrar of the university, Sadekuzzaman, added that all transactions, including salary payments to employees, will now be done through Nagad’s mobile service, making the process much more convenient and accessible.
This is a great step towards digital financial services and could provide many benefits for those involved.
