JCI Bangladesh Elected Imran Kadir as National President for 2024

Imran Kadir has achieved the position of 2024 National President of Junior Chamber International Bangladesh (JCI). The 2023 General Assembly of JCI Bangladesh, held at Le Meridian Hotel in Dhaka on November 11th, witnessed the formation of the 2024 National Board, with Imran Kadir taking the helm.

The Election Commissioner for this assembly was the 2023 Immediate Past National President (IPNP) of JCI Bangladesh, Niaz Morshed Elite. The chain of handover was completed from the current National President, Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan, to Imran Kadir after his election.

Expressing gratitude to the members who elected him, Imran Kadir emphasized that JCI Bangladesh, as the largest non-political platform for young people, is dedicated to their development.

In his vision for 2024, Imran Kadir aims to elevate JCI Bangladesh to new heights by creating opportunities for young people nationwide and fostering international collaborations for business relations and employment. The agenda also includes initiatives addressing mental health, poverty reduction, tree plantation, environmental protection, women’s empowerment, and other critical social issues.

Imran Kadir, currently serving as the Head of Sales and Marketing at The Daily Star, is actively involved in multiple startups and co-founded the Mission Save Bangladesh Foundation. He holds a degree in Legal Studies from the University of London (UoL) and is a published author.

JCI is an international leadership development platform for individuals aged 18-40, headquartered in the United States. Present in 120 countries with over 200,000 members worldwide, JCI Bangladesh consists of 41 Local Organizations dedicated to the betterment and empowerment of youth in the country.
