Nestlé Bangladesh wins taxpayer award

Nestlé Bangladesh were awarded under the ‘Food & Allied category’ for the 5th consecutive year.

Nestlé Bangladesh Limited has once again proven its commitment to the country’s economic development as the recipient of the annual tax payer award and tax card for the fiscal year 2019-2020.

The company was recognized as the highest corporate tax contributor to the national exchequer, making it the proud winner of the ‘Food & Allied category’ award for the 5th consecutive year. This achievement was announced in a press release.

The award was received by Director Namit Mishra (Finance & Control) and Director Naquib Khan (Corporate Affairs) on behalf of the organization. Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal MP and National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem, declared the tax award. Minister for Jute & Textile Gazi Golam Dastagir MP was also present and handed over the tax card and award to Nestle Bangladesh Limited.

This recognition is a testament to the company’s consistent efforts in supporting the country’s growth and development through its contributions to the national exchequer.
