Robi Axiata Limited, the second-largest mobile telecom operator, announced a substantial increase in net profit for the first nine months of 2023.
During this period, the company’s net profit surged by 200%, reaching Tk172 crore with earnings per share of Tk0.33. This is a significant increase compared to Tk57 crore and Tk0.11, respectively, for the same period the previous year.
Furthermore, Robi reported a revenue growth of over 17%, reaching Tk7,431 crore for the January-September period, compared to the previous year. The company’s robust performance continued into the July-September quarter, with profit surging over 250% to Tk106 crore. Revenues for the third quarter of this year also grew by over 15%, reaching Tk2,543 crore.
