Founded in 1990 by Syed Manzur Elahi, Apex Footwear Limited – as a publicly listed manufacturer and exporter of shoes – holds a significant share of leather footwear export from Bangladesh. With a production capacity of nine thousand pairs per shift, shoes manufactured by Apex are available across the world at major shoe retailers in USA, Europe and Asia. It is the only factory in Bangladesh with Gold Level Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certification, BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) rating and Leather Working Group (LWG) Gold rating.

Apex pioneered the Bangladeshi export leather footwear market and holds a significant position in the domestic footwear market in Bangladesh. Locally, Apex has earned the title of the ‘Bangladeshi Shoemaker’, thanks to its fusion of Italian-inspired designs and Bangladeshi craftsmanship. The retail wing, established in the late ’90s, offers a diverse range of products tailored to suit various consumer preferences through its nine in-house brands – Venturini, Apex, Maverick, Sprint, Moochie, Nino Rossi, Dr. Mauch, Twinkler, and SchoolSmart. Apex stands as a go-to destination for fashionable footwear choices for the entire family.
