Walton, a major electronics company in Bangladesh, has signed an agreement to supply and install 1,182 tons of air conditioners for the East Bank Service Area (EBSA) of the Bangabandhu Tunnel Project in the Karnaphuli River.

This project marks a significant milestone for Walton as it involves the supply and installation of various types of air conditioners, including VRF, RAC, and light commercial units. The Bangabandhu Tunnel is a prestigious infrastructure project in Bangladesh, and Walton’s involvement in it reflects the company’s commitment to providing high-quality products for important national projects.

Tanvir Anjum, Senior Executive Director of Walton, expressed his pride in being associated with the Bangabandhu Tunnel Project, which he referred to as a source of national pride.

Walton’s “Made in Bangladesh” air conditioners are known for their energy efficiency and durability, and the company aims to contribute to the success of this major infrastructure project.

Sandeep Biswas, Deputy Chief Business Officer (DCBO) of Walton AC, highlighted that Walton’s VRF, RAC, and light commercial air conditioners, manufactured to international standards, will be installed in South Asia’s first under-river tunnel project.

This collaboration with the Bangabandhu Tunnel Project further solidifies Walton’s reputation as a leading provider of high-quality, energy-efficient air conditioning solutions.
