‘Barnomela’ was held under the auspices of Meril Baby, a brand of Square Toiletries Limited. This event was organized by Prothom Alo at the Sultana Kamal Mahila Sports Complex premises in Dhanmondi on Wednesday. Along with Meril Baby, two other brands of Square Toiletries Limited, Super Mom and Sepnil, were in collaboration.
As always, this year’s Barnomela had colorful events including sports, cultural events, various competitions suitable for children. Meril Baby’s Barnil Barno Stall had ‘Barno Sikhi Barno Rong Kari’ activity to strengthen the bond between the Bengali language and the new generation, to make learning Bengali Barno more enjoyable and fun. Apart from this, the children’s time was made more colorful by the game ‘Puzzle Melao Pic Banao’.
Parents who come to the stall with their children are already familiar with Meril Baby’s ‘Adore Gora Bhobitshot’ program. This time also they shared their future thoughts about their children by coming to the booth of ‘Adore Gora Bhobitshot’. They praised the education insurance initiative of 10 lakh rupees. Apart from that, the children were very happy to receive the gift hampers.

At the Sepnil ‘Amar Barno Amar Haate’ stall, the children made their own colors of their choice with clay, as well as painted them. That’s why they took them with them to decorate the house. As always, Sepnil organized to teach the need, benefits and proper rules of hand washing.
Like every time in Barnomela, this time too, everyone’s favorite Supermom was home. For the convenience of newborns and their mothers, there is always a breast feeding corner, diaper changing facilities. Apart from this, the opportunity to get advice about baby’s health from expert doctors completely free of cost keeps mothers worry-free during the fair and beyond.

The theme of this year’s Barnomela was ‘Come to the Barnomela, float in fairy tales’. The day-long Barnomela had various programs on colors including color exhibition, color masks, color technology, color painting, Mast Varna, Science Box, Nagordola, Sisimpur, Goofy World, and all this around the world of fairy tales. But the main attraction was the children’s dress-up competition based on fairy tale characters. The children also participated in decorating the pomegranate tree, the piglet and the old lady of the moon with great joy. The whole fair ground was full of clamor.
