Tamim Iqbal invites new generation back to field teaming up with MILO

Bangladesh ODI captain Tamim Iqbal has teamed up with cocoa malt beverage MILO, and handed over cricket gear to schools, on behalf of Nestlé Bangladesh Limited to encourage the new generation about physical activity and its benefits on physical and mental health ensuring safety protocol.
Nestlé Bangladesh Limited has launched its product, MILO 3in1, with a cricket gear donation, according to a press release.
Tamim Iqbal, a legendary opening batsman in Bangladesh cricket history, has been appointed as the brand ambassador for MILO.
As a global patron of sports, Nestlé is committed to promoting sports in Bangladesh and developing the next generation of champions who will represent the country on the world stage, the press release noted. Tamim Iqbal fondly remembered his childhood connection to MILO as his preferred energy drink when he was an aspiring cricketer. He reminisced about receiving an assortment of MILO as a trophy during the Under-17 Malaysia tournament.
Managing Director of Nestlé Bangladesh Limited, Deepal Abeywickrema, expressed his optimism for the future of the country’s youth, saying, ” Bangladesh is a young country, with an aspiration to become a great nation and ambition to win the world. Today’s youth are the leaders tomorrow.”

The cricket gear donation event, hosted by Nestlé Bangladesh Limited, took place at Fortis Sport Club Field and was attended by school officials from prominent schools in Gazipur.
