In a major industry development, Galib Bin Mohammad has been appointed as the new Business Head for the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) at Meghna Group of Industries, one of Bangladesh’s leading billion-dollar conglomerates. This appointment is poised to bring about a significant transformation in the FMCG sector.

With an extensive background in marketing and 18+ years of experience in the FMCG industry, including working with global and local brands, Galib Bin Mohammad is well-equipped to lead this pivotal role. His mission is to create enduring value for consumers, customers, internal & external stakeholders by delivering relevant, differentiated, and sustainable solutions that align with their needs and expectations.

Just prior joining MGI, Galib’s career highlights include serving as the Head of Marketing at Arla Foods Bangladesh, where he contributed in driving historic business growth along with making the brand DANO the best brand in the market as well as in the consumer mind-space.

Prior to Arla, Galib worked in the renowned local and international corporates like Nestle, Standard Chartered Bank, ACI Consumer and Pran group.

In addition to his professional achievements, Galib is also known as a well-known author with several publications related to marketing practices in Bangladesh as well as his travel experiences.
